About me
A keen photographer since the age of 5, I have developed a deep understanding and enthusiasm for photography in recent years, becoming a widely and regularly published railway photographer.

My father’s interest in transport has led me towards this field of photography, particularly preserved railways and aircraft. However, my main interest lies in photography in general, and since a family holiday in May 2007, I have become much more involved in landscape and portrait photography.

Published by the age of 13, my photos appeared commercially for a number of railways, and by the age of 16 I had been published in a specialist national magazine that sells over 30,000 copies an issue. Shortly afterwards, my work appeared for a WHSmith book, and companies such as Arriva Trains Wales have also approached me for the use of my images. For the first time, one of my pictures made the shortlist for Amateur Photographer magazine’s online competition in May 2008, which was only the second time I had entered such a competition.

Despite the unexpected success, I have no qualifications in Photography - opting out of pursuing an A level in the subject at my school in favour of 3 sciences and Politics. I am currently studying Civil Engineering at Exeter University, however it remains one of my aims to achieve formal recognition in the way of a qualification at a later date.

I hope that you enjoy viewing my images as much as I have enjoyed taking them. Please do not hesitate to e-mail me via the link at the foot of each page if you have any queries.
